The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man on multiple felony charges following investigation into allegations of child molestation.
Authorities say detectives with the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office began the investigation at Holly’s House where a forensic interview was done on a fifteen-year-old victim. Authorities say the victim gave a statement alleging that on more than one occasion 32-year-old Cory Gibbs provided alcohol to the victim and proceeded to commit acts of sexual abuse.
During an interview with detectives, Gibbs reportedly admitted to have committed the acts alleged against him.
Gibbs was charged on one count of Child Molesting and five counts of Sexual Misconduct with a minor.
Gibbs was transported to the Vanderburgh County Jail and will be held without bond pending a court appearance.
