EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – The Vanderburgh Humane Society has officially bought the River Kitty Cat Cafe in downtown Evansville.

The pair were already partners helping local felines find fur-ever homes.

A unique concept – the River Kitty Cat Cafe opened on Main Street in 2017 and has hosted several events alongside the humane society.

VHS is expected to release more details on the purchase later this week.
