KNOX COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) – A Vincennes man has been arrested in connection with a deadly crash that killed a husband and wife.

27-year-old Joshua Roark is charged with two counts of causing death while driving under the influence of meth.

Indiana State Police say on June 12th, Roark was driving southbound on State Road 159 near Brocksmith Road when he drove left of center and hit another vehicle head-on.

The road was shut down for several hours as crews cleared the scene.

John and Rita Buck, both of Freelandville, were inside that vehicle and died at the scene.

Roark was airlifted to an Evansville hospital for serious injuries.

ISP says their investigation revealed Roark was under the influence of meth.

Roark turned himself into authorities at the Knox County Jail, where he has since posted bond.
