WalletHub ranks best and worst states for teachers

(WEHT) – With World Teachers’ Day around the corner, WalletHub released its report on the best and worst states for teachers.

Illinois was ranked the sixth-best state for teachers.

Kentucky ranked 14th and Indiana ranked 23rd.

Kentucky had the lowest projected teacher turnover, according to the study, while Indiana ranked among the five states with the highest projected teacher turnover.

Indiana also had one of the lowest rankings for public-school spending per student.
