Woman Accused of Beating Man Into False Confession Pleads Guilty

One of the women accused of beating a man into a false confession in the case of Aleah Beckerle has pleaded guilty to three charges.

Debra Wollner is charged with several counts of criminal confinement and battery with a deadly weapon.

Here are the charges for which she has pleaded guilty:

  • Battery by Means of a Deadly Weapon
  • Criminal Confinement where a vehicle is used
  • Criminal Confinement with bodily injury

She’s among three people who Evansville Police say held a man against his will and severely beat him with a metal pipe.

She’s scheduled to be sentenced on March 27.
