One woman is under arrest after allegedly crashing into a home in Henderson County.
The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office tells Eyewitness News a car crashed into a home about 40 yards from US-60 across from A.B. Chandler Elementary.
It happened just before 3 o’clock Monday afternoon.
Investigators say a woman driving westbound on US-60 lost control of her vehicle before crashing into the home.
Authorities say the woman faces charges of driving under the influence and hit-and-run. The sheriff’s office tells us the driver allegedly hit a guard rail on the Pennyrile Parkway prior to this crash and left the scene without filing a report.
There were no injuries reported in the crash, and no one was home when it happened.
