CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (ABC) – A mother out for a job said a man flashed her while was out on a jog, but the alleged flasher chose the wrong woman.
Aia Polanksy, 33, is a military veteran who was out on a jog when the incident happened.
She said she chased the man down while trying to call for help.
“I saw a guy pulling down his pants. I didn’t put a lot of thought about it,” she said. “But when the guy went towards me and flashed his pants one more time all the way down to his knees and reached his hands down, I realized that this is not just an emergency and he is a flasher.”
While others have ignored him, this mother of two took action.
What you don’t see in the surveillance footage is this former member of the Israeli Army tackling the man and holding both of his hands behind back while bystanders call police.
Then, as she grabbed her phone to call 911 herself, the man broke loose and ran off.
Massachusetts State Police posted a portion of the video of the incident on its YouTube page, hoping to identify the alleged flasher.
