EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT)- A guilty plea was given Friday for a woman connected to an Evansville murder.
Lakeysha Couto is charged with assisting a criminal and obstruction of justice in connection with the death of Kimra Miller.
Miller’s body was found in a field behind Ellis Park in July. Police said Couto helped Ciarra Landfair and Gracie Smith move Miller’s body from a home in Evansville to that field.
Landfair pleaded guilty to murder. Smith pleaded guilty to assisting a criminal. Couto is scheduled to be sentenced on February 24th.
