GIBSON COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) – An election dispute in Gibson County has the attention of state officials.

Unsuccessful Owensville Town Council candidate Jerry Moore says the Secretary of State’s Office has agreed to hear his complaint Thursday.

Moore says during the August Republican Convention, the county GOP Chairman turned away several voters.

But Moore says people were told the convention would be open to more than just Republicans.

Democrats had no candidate for the seat.
