FAIRFIELD, Ill. (WEHT) – A Fairfield pastor running for a seat in the Illinois House of Representatives announced on Monday that he’s ending his campaign.
Cory Musgrave made the announcement about the ending of his campaign on Facebook, saying he can’t give 100% to the campaign.
Musgrave, a Republican, said he’s throwing his support behind fellow Republican Adam Neimerg in the 109th State House race.
Republican Andrew Hires and Democrat John Spencer are also running for the seat.
Musgrave gained statewide attention earlier this year when he delivered a pro-life prayer in front of the Illinois House while the General Assembly was considering relaxing abortion restrictions.
