State Rep. Bacon says he will not seek reelection

CHANDLER, Ind. (WEHT) – Indiana State Representative Ron Bacon (R-Chandler) announced on Friday that he will not seek reelection.

Rep. Bacon said he will serve out his current term, but he will not run for another.

He was first elected to the state legislature in 2010.

He said health reasons are behind his decision to retire.

He represents portions of Warrick, Pike, and Spencer counties.
