Three Vanderburgh County candidates file for 2020 election

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Two candidates filed for the Vanderburgh County primary elections on Friday.

Zachary Rascher

Republican Zachary Rascher is running for Vanderburgh County Commissioner.

Rascher’s wife, Natalie, ran unsuccessfully for Evansville City Council in 2019.

Zachary is running in the District 1 Commissioner’s race, hoping to unseat Democrat Ben Shoulders.

Ken McWilliams

Democrat Ken McWilliams filed to run for Vanderburgh County Recorder.

McWilliams has served in the treasurer’s and assessor’s office.

Current Recorder Debbie Stucki, a Republican, is expected to seek re-election.

Jill Anne Hahn

Jill Anne Hahn filed to run as a Republican for County Council.

This will be Hahn’s first run for public office.

She’s a high school government and economics teacher.
