EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) Aces basketball was hard at work Tuesday afternoon at the 5/3 Center.
But it wasn’t a normal practice session.
The team spent the afternoon stuffing backpacks for EVSC students. Each backpack was filled with school supplies and a coupon for a free haircut.
Head coach Walter McCarty says, ” Growing up in this area and being able to do something like this is one of the reasons why coming back was a great thing to do.”
The Aces filled nearly 100 backpacks.
