“For us to get a good sweep against a good quality Butler team, that was coming in 6 and oh, I think it was a great turning point for our club for early in the season. For us to come at home for home field advantage and go out there, and get the last three outs, and compete in the batter box, meant a lot to our club and helped us push through the door.”

“He was throwing a lot of fastballs and he flipped to the slider, I knew his slider was going to come and guys got on good position on the bases and it just happened to get through there. It was pretty cool, yeah don’t think I’ve done that before and I got hit with a good splash of water and it ended pretty good for us.”

The Aces are expected to play their first game at Braun Stadium on March 10th against Indiana University.
