Alex Gould’s “racing video” is going viral

EVANASVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) Former University of Evansville baseball player Alex Gould has been keeping busy during the coronavirus pandemic.

Gould, who is an an aspiring play by play announcer, has been making videos where he describes games from an empty baseball field and cars driving around the neighborhood.

In fact, one of the videos has received national attention via Twitter.

Gould says he never really expected any attention, he was simply trying to get a few laughs.

Gould says, “We didn’t even want to post it at first. We were looking at it and thought wow, that’s kind of funny. We were, let’s share it with some buddies of ours and share it with the family. And a lot of people said you have to post this, this is really good. Good content. You never know. People need a laugh in this time, a tough time in America and the world, so we just said let’s post it and see what happens. A lot of people got a hold of it and it was wild.”
