EVANSVILLE, Ind. – (WEHT) After a slow start to the season, Central basketball is hoping to get things going this week.
The Bears say despite the slow start, they believe they have the team that can bounce back and have success.
“We’ve not had the success that we wanted to but we keep having that mindset that it doesn’t matter what other people say, it’s just wanting to get better each day. That’s why we’re here, that’s why we’re working hard. We’ve got guys that want to stay after, guys that want to come in early, and that’s what it’s all about right now. We just we’ve got to finish. If we can put a full 32 minutes together and finish then the outcome will be a W in the end,” said head coach Rodney Walker.
Up next, the Bears will face Princeton on Saturday.
