Braun Stadium getting major facelift

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) Braun Stadium will get a major facelift this fall. The home to Evansville baseball since 1990 will get new artificial turf, a new scoreboard and a new name.

German American Bank is funding the renovation project. The offical new name will now be, “German American Bank Field at Charles H. Braun Stadium”.

Head coach Wes Carroll says, “I’ve had a vision for this since I stepped foot on this campus 13 years ago as an assistant.”

UE hopes to break ground in the fall. Construction is expected to last 2-3 months.
