Chris Pfau hired as Aces women’s soccer head coach

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – (WEHT) The University of Evansville has hired Chris Pfau as the women’s soccer head coach,the school announced on Tuesday.

Pfau, who returned to the UE sidelines as an assistant in 2019, will begin his second stint as head coach of the Lady Aces. Pfau was also the head coach from 2005-2007, where he put together three 10-win seasons.

“It’s been great, right when I got back on campus it felt like home. I’m very comfortable obviously being back from 2005. It’s been overwhelming a little bit, but it’s been great reconnecting with old friends and alums. I’m really looking forward to the future of this program,” said Pfau.

Pfau says he hopes to bring the same success he had in his first stint with the Lady Aces back to Evansville.
