LOS ANGELES, Ca. (WEHT) – The Indianapolis Colts fell to the Los Angeles Chargers 30-24 in overtime in the horseshoe’s season opener.
Indianapolis trailed 17-6 at halftime and scored 18 points in the second half to force overtime. Colts’ running back, Marlon Mack, put up good offense too, tabbing 174 rushing yards on 24 carries for 1 touchdown.
More offense came from the Indy’s gunslinger. Starting quarterback, Jacoby Brissett, completed 21 of 27 passes for 190 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Chargers tailback, Austin Ekeler, proved to be a handful, scoring three touchdowns including the game winner, to secure a Los Angeles victory.
The Colts travel to Tennessee next Sunday.
