Craig Yeast begins first fall camp at KWC

Sports

OWENSBORO, Ky (WEHT) The Craig Yeast era is underway at KWC. The former UK star takes over a struggling Kentucky Wesleyan football program.

The Panthers have had only 4 winning seasons in program history.

Yeast is hoping his success as a player at UK will lead to success in Owensboro. Yeast says, “A successful first year for us is not really about wins and losses. I want to win. I’m a winner, we’re gonna win. But the way that winning looks like I don’t know yet. I haven’t coached a game. We’ve got a lot of new faces. The thing that I want is when we get out in games, whether we’re up or we’re down, it’s the way we play. “

KWC opens the season with a home game against Concordia on September 7th.
