Craig Yeast introduced as new KWC football coach

Kentucky Wesleyan introduced Craig Yeast as the Panthers new football coach. Yeast played in the N-F-L and was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals. Before his professional career, He was a S-E-C wide receiver at the University of Kentucky where he was the all-time leader in career receptions with 208 catches in the SEC and second in receiving yards with 2,899.

Before taking on this new coaching role, Yeast spent three years coaching at Franklin College in Franklin, Indiana where he was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. 

He will serve as the program’s 17th head coach in school history. He is excited to be in Owensboro and wants KWC to win. 

“Once you change that culture and the mindset and how you feel about yourself, you have a little more pride in the way you go and carry yourself, not just on the football field but everywhere you go, so, I don’t think its an obstacle, unless you make it one, we’ll change mindsets.” 

Kentucky Wesleyan finished their 2018 football campaign with a (3-7) record.
