BOSTON(AP) — The company that makes Muscle Milk is ending its endorsementdeal with Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez.
Policehave searched in and around Hernandez’s home in North Attleborough,Mass., after a 27-year-old semi-pro football player from Boston wasfound dead a mile away. The district attorney’s office has not saidwhether Hernandez will face any charges.
Benicia,Calif.-based CytoSport says in a one-sentence statement that in lightof the investigation involving Hernandez, it was terminating itsendorsement contract with him effective immediately.
Thecompany, which makes Muscle Milk and other nutritional supplementsfor athletes, did not say how much that contract was worth or what itcalled for Hernandez to do.
