Daviess County’s boy’s soccer fall in state championship

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WEHT) – Daviess County boy’s soccer team came up short in the state championship game losing 2-0 to Henry Clay on Saturday in Lexington.

The Panthers had trouble generating shots, creating just three on the evening.

On the other side, the Blue Raiders, the No. 1 team in Kentucky, kept firing away, finishing in double digit opportunities.

Henry Clay didn’t score their first goal until the 52nd minute, and followed up another second half goal in the 78th minute.
