EVANSVILLE, Ind. – (WEHT) Dylan Meyer was back in town Tuesday to help kick off a big day at Tee Time. New custom fitting technology made possible through Trackman equipment will allow local golfers to analyze their golf game to find a better fit club.
Meyer says he uses the technology as a professional golfer, allowing him to fine tune his game based off of exact measurements and numbers like spin rate, projectory, and angles.
“Guys being able to come out here, get the right equipment for themselves, to feel like a Tour player, to get fit like a Tour player is invaluable. It’s always something that’s a goal for everyone. I know my dad wants to get out here to get fit and you know, to feel like I do when I’m out there with the guys from Callaway getting fit for my clubs,” said Meyer. “It was an eye-opening experience to me because I was able to have real time numbers to get better, you know it was understanding where I was having my mistakes at where I wasn’t playing my best, This is a big day for Evansville and I think it’s gonna be great for golf around the tri-state area.”
Players who want to get the custom fitting for themselves can contact Tee Time to make an appointment.
Meyer will continue his pro career this fall.
