Indiana has now lost 11 of 12.

The win gives Pudue a share of 1st place in the Big 10.

Post game comments:

Matt Painter: A win in this game, we’re very fortunate. I thought we played hard and and I thought our defense was really good. I thought we struggled offensively, we struggled to rebound at times, but I don’t think anybody walked out of here and doesn’t think our team has some toughness to them, so we were able to hang in there.

Archie Miller: Really hard-fought game. It’s probably as physical of a basketball game that I’ve ever been a part of. Both teams I thought really competed hard, and at the end of the day, they make the winning play. For us, just proud of our effort level. I was proud of our togetherness. The team that took the floor tonight had a great disposition, and that’s the thing that needs to stay.

Juwan Morgan: The thing that’s changed is our mentatlity. We have no choice but to maintain. These last couple games, we still have a chance, everything we want is still in front of us and I think I’m proud of how the guys fought today. You know, a couple shots here a couple shots there and it’s a different ball game and I think just going forward, when shots are falling, if we keep that mentality on the defensive end it’s gonna be a tough team to stop.
