Home Team Friday Two-A-Days: Henderson County and Skip Patterson

Henderson County has spent the past three seasons building towards success, and this season, the Colonels hope to get over the .500 mark once again.

One of the biggest reasons to the Colonels have been on the rise is senior quarterback Skip Patterson. The Colonels' dual-threat QB was spectacular last season, becoming just the second player in program history to rack up 1,000 rushing yards and 2,000 passing yards. He finished his junior season third on Henderson County's all-time passing list and second in career passing completions. Patterson was named the 6A District 1 Player of the Year.

This season, Patterson and the Josh Boston's team hope to build on last season's 5-7 record.

Henderson County will begin their season on August 17th against Reitz.
