(WEHT) Southridge has had lots of success over the past few seasons, and despite key losses on offense like Tucker Schank and Colson Montgomery, the Raiders say they hope this year is no different.
“It’s that time of the year where everybody is excited, everybody is 0-0, and I think all of us feel like there’s a lot of promise for this season,” said head coach Scott Buening. “When you’ve got new guys, a new team, a new personality, new styles across the board, I think it’s exciting. It’s our job to try to accentuate what they can do.”
The Raiders haven’t had a losing season since 2005, and this year, Southridge jumps up to 3A because of success.
Southridge kicks off the season against Linton Stockton.
