OWENSBORO, Ky. – (WEHT) After losing a handful of skill players to graduation, the Panthers enter this season with lots of new faces, something they said they plan to embrace.
“A lot of excitement with the new stadium and a lot of new faces, so it’s kind of a fresh start for us,” said head coach Matt Brannon. “The expectations have not changed for us.”
Brannon says he is excited about the young talent this group brings, including a sophomore class that went undefeated as freshmen last season.
Daviess County will kick off their season at Central Hardin in week one.
