HTF Two-A-Days: Edwards County

ALBION, Il. – (WEHT) Edwards County made history last season, having the best year in program history. This season the Lions hope for more of the same success.

“I’ve been coaching for 26, 27 years and that seems to be a good trend. You have success, it breeds more success, and the kids feed off of that and they get better,” said head coach Joe Rivers, who says the key to their success is staying healthy.

The Lions return a handful of players from last year’s team, the first to win a playoff game in Lions history.

Edwards County will kick off the season against Chester.
