FAIRFIELD, Il. – (WEHT) There might not be a more dominant team over the past few seasons than Fairfield. The Mules have gone 27-4 over the last three seasons, including the best season in program history last year.
“We’re gonna get everybody’s best shot, and I think our kids know that. We have to put in our best effort in the offseason and everyday at practice because every body else is going to do everything that they can to possibly beat us,” said head coach Justin Townsend.
The Mules say this season their hope is to go further in the postseason.
“Not just being successful in our conference but being successful in the playoffs is our main goal. It’s how we’re adapting and basically what it amounts to is it that we have to take our play up another level,” said Townsend.
