LEOPOLD, Ind. (WEHT) Perry Central will begin the 2019 season with lots of optimism.
After back to back losing seasons, the Commodores got back on track in 2018 posting a 6-5 record.
Head coach Greg Gibson says, “The kids grow up with it, they grow up being in the stands being there on Friday nights. They understand the culture and they want to be part of it. They go through grade school as future Perry Central football players. It’s a big deal for us. “
Aidan Sauer adds, “The history of the team itself motivates us to really be our best. We just want to really continue on all the winning seasons. We really want to go out with a bang. We really want to give these fans a season they won’t forget.”
Perry Central opens the season at Tell City.
