VINCENNES, Ind. (WEHT) – Levi Salters’ dominance continues at Vincennes Lincoln and the expectations are high again.
The Alices have finished with 8 wins or more in the past two seasons. Vincennes Lincoln believes they have to set bigger goals for 2019.
“We feel we have to raise expectations once again, 8 or 9 wins is great but we would like to take it to the next step. Our goal is to win conference and win the sectional. We still haven’t won a sectional so that’s the driving force factor for us for sure.”
The feeling is mutual around the program. Senior, Raekwon Haislip believes he’s been a positive factor in the team’s success.
“Him being the coach for the last two years has been great. We have a different tempo. He’s a great coach. We just want to use that momentum from seasons ago to keep pushing to get better and better, so that’s our mindset for this season.”
Vincennnes Lincoln has had the highest summer participants for this season. The Alices open the year against Bosse.
