EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) Ian Moran has resigned as head coach of the Evansville Thunderbolts. Moran says his decision was due to his desire to spend more time with his family.

Moran spent 1 season in Evansville, leading the team to an SPHL worst 12-38-6 record.

The Thunderbolts will begin a national search for a new head coach immediately.
