BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WEHT) – Indiana crushed Eastern Illinois 52-0 in their home opener at Memorial Stadium on Saturday.
The Hoosiers margin of victory was their biggest since beating No. 19 Nebraska 54-0 back in 1944.
IU jumped out to a 21 point lead in the first quarter and never looked back. Michael Penix Jr. was 14 of 20 for 197 yards and 2 touchdowns before Peyton Ramsey subbed in.
Indiana faces off against Ohio State next week at home.
