INDIANAPOLIS (WEHT)- Racing fans will have to wait a little longer for the 104th Indianapolis 500 after it was rescheduled Thursday due to COVID-19.
Traditionally held over Memorial Day Weekend, the race will now be held August 23rd. The GMR Grand Prix, scheduled for May 9, has been rescheduled for July 4.
All concerts scheduled for the original race weekend, including REO Speedwagon, Styx, Luke Bryan, and Martin Garrix have been canceled.
