Kentucky defeats Eastern Michigan as Wilson exits with injury

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WEHT) – Kentucky used a balance attack as the Wildcats defeated Eastern Michigan 38-17 on Saturday.

Starting quarterback, Terry Wilson, exited the game in the third quarter after EMU defensive lineman, Turan Rush, used a horse-collar tackle to bring down the Wildcats QB.

Wilson is expected to have an MRI on Sunday. Sawyer Smith stepped in and threw two touchdowns in relief to help Big Blue Nation secure a win.

Kentucky will host No. 11 Florida on Saturday night, hoping to get their first home victory against the Gators since 1986.
