KWC football wraps up spring practice

Sports

Kentuck Wesleyan football took to the field on Saturday to wrap up spring practice. KWC suited up in their gear and worked on set plays, a variation of drills, and ran their offense against a live defense.

Panthers first year head coach, Craig Yeast, is eager to get things going for KWC.

“I’m thrilled, I’m tickle pink inside, just happy to be here, happy to try to get our program into a championship caliber. I think we have an opportunity to build something real special here at Kentucky Wesleyan with our football program. We are just excited, we are happy to be here and ready to get to work and try to get better every single day.”

Kentucky Wesleyan kicks off the season against Concordia on September 7 at home.
