Local Kentucky schools pay tribute to spring seniors

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Covid-19 impacted all of our Tri-State seniors but some Kentucky schools decided to do something positive about it.

Daviess County, Apollo, and Owensboro and some others across the Bluegrass state all turned on their lights on their various sports field at 8pm for 20 minutes and 20 seconds to honor their spring seniors.

Families, friends, and colleagues were encouraged to drive and honk their cars to show support throughout the lighting process.
