INDIANAPOLIS (WEHT) – On Friday and Saturday, two southwestern Indiana football teams will be competing for an IHSAA state title.
The 3A State Championship game featuring Heritage Hills (14-0) and Indianapolis Chatard (13-1) will start at 2:30 p.m. Central Time on Friday.
According to the IHSAA, Heritage Hills’ defense ranks second in the state – allowing only 6.9 points per game.
On Saturday, Evansville Memorial (12-1) will take on East Noble (14-0) at 2:30 p.m. Central Time.
This is Memorial’s third consecutive title game.
If Memorial wins, it would be the school’s second title in football. Memorial won its first football state title in 2017.
