Evansville native Lilly King will compete in the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships on Friday and Saturday in Austin, Texas.
Friday at 5 p.m., the finals will begin. Indiana University’s King will compete in the 100-yard breaststroke.
Her world-record time of 55.88 in the 100-yard breaststroke was set at the Big Ten Championships this season – breaking her own previous record of 56.25 set at last season’s NCAA Championships.
Saturday, King will compete in the 200-yard breaststroke. Saturday’s finals begin at 5 p.m. as well.
King has this season’s fastest 200-yard preliminary time among the NCAA’s women at 2:03.60.
Both Friday’s and Saturday’s Finals will be broadcast by ESPNU.

King swam at Reitz High School prior to attending Indiana University.
At the 2016 Olympics, she won the Gold Medal with an Olympic record in the women’s 100-meter breaststroke. Her record-breaking time was 1:04.93.
