Southridge’s Colson Montgomery headed to Indiana

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Southridge star Colson Montgomery announced on Saturday that he will be playing baseball at Indiana University after graduation.

Montgomery is one of the top-rated baseball players in the state of Indiana and could get drafted to go straight into the minor leagues after his senior season next year.

He will become the fifth Tri-Stater on the current IU baseball roster, joining Memorial alum Drew Ashley, Reitz grad Elijah Dunham, Jasper alum Cal Kruger, and Southridge grad and former teammate Tucker Schank.
