MORGANFIELD, Ky. (WEHT) Union County has put together a historic run over the past few seasons, winning a state-record four consecutive state titles.
This season, the Braves are once again in state title contention and hoping for a 5-peat next month in the state tournament.
“Obviously your goal is to compete at a high level, and the highest level in Kentucky is winning a state title. It’s exciting, I don’t think you ever lose that hunger,” said head coach Robert Ervin.
The Braves have won a total of 11 state championships, second most in the state of Kentucky.
