Lower ready for redemption at Korn Ferry Championship

NEWBURGH, Ind. – (WEHT) There’s a lot on the line for golfers at Victoria National this week, and nobody understands that better than Justin Lower.

“Everyone’s gunning for the same thing, we all want to be on the PGA Tour. I finished 26 on the finals money list, and I think I was $492 short or something like that. I missed an eight-footer on the last hole that would have gotten me onto the PGA Tour,” said Lower.

This week Lower has another chance to get his PGA Tour card at the Korn Ferry Championship and says he thinks a top-ten finish will get him there.

“Tough to deal with absolutely, it’s everyone’s dream if you play out here to be on the PGA Tour, but I mean it happens. Someone has to finish 26th, and it unfortunately was me, but it’s definitely motivating and has made me work even harder,” said Lower.

Tournament play begins on Friday at Victoria National Golf Course.
