Major golf companies help to repair players’ clubs for free during Korn Ferry Tour Championship

NEWBURGH, Ind. (WEHT) – The second day of Pro-Ams is underway at the Korn Ferry Tour Championship presented by United Leasing and Finance.

Major golf companies like Ping and Titleist are repairing, making, or tweaking golf clubs for players at no cost.

The companies even remember the individual preferences of each player.

Dino Antenucci with Titleist said, “We keep as much notes as we can. We’ll even go as far as to how much glue we put in the heads, the locations of that, we know the lofts of their drivers. And we just check everything to make sure they are using the same equipment over and over.”

The Korn Ferry Tour brings its own club repair service as well, all in an effort to keep players competitive.
