(WEHT) – Evansville native Don Mattingly tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday, the Miami Marlins announced.

The 60-year-old Marlins manager felt mild symptoms prior to his club’s game against the New York Yankees. That positive test will force Mattingly to miss the rest of the Yankees series. Mattingly was vaccinated in April.
