Kentucky Mavericks assistant Sarah Gayler isn’t your typical basketball coach.
After playing college basketball at the University of New Orleans and professionally overseas, Gayler transitioned from player to coach.
But instead of coaching women, she’s coaching men.
Gayler has been on the Kentucky Mavericks coaching staff for four years, and she has also worked in the NBA’s D-League.
Sarah enjoys coaching the Mavericks, but one day, she hopes to make it all the way to the NBA sidelines.
