Mikaela Jenkins wins gold at World Championships


LONDON, England (WEHT) Reitz junior Mikaela Jenkins has won a gold medal at the World Para Allianz Championship in London.

Jenkins won the 100 meter butterfly with a time of 1:07:07.

Jenkins was born with a limb growth deficiency. She had her left foot amputated when she was 8 month old.

Jenkins also competes with the Newburgh Sea Creatures.
