Sunday was a tough afternoon for the Cowboys defense, especially its safeties.

Barry Church and Gerald Sensabaugh both sat out the fourth quarter in Dallas’ 27-7 loss to the Seahawks. They were replaced by Mana Silva and Danny McCray.

Church suffered a quadriceps bruise while covering a kickoff in the first half. Sensabaugh was diagnosed with a calf strain after the game.

Despite the injuries, both players said they should be ready to go in the Cowboys’ home opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.
