North girls golf tabs record breaking regional championship

WASHINGTON, Ind. (WEHT) – North’s girls golf team has completed yet another remarkable achievement on the links.

The defending state champions won another regional championship on Saturday and broke a regional record in the process.

North tabbed a team score of 284 (-4). The previous mark was a team score of 295. Faith Johnson led the way with an individual score of 67.

(All state qualifiers)

Along with the state qualifiers, Castle’s Carly Frazier advances to state as an individual with a score of 75. Plus, North Posey senior Haylee Exline advances to state as an individual with a score of 76.
