Princeton Takes Down Rushville to Win Regional Title

Sports
The Princeton Lady Tigers took a two point deficit into halftime of their regional match-up with Rushville Tuesday night.  Coach Charles Mair said the staff installed a couple of new offenses for the second half, putting five-star recruit Jackie Young in the post.  Young responded with 16 points in the third quarter alone, leading the Tigers to a 22-4 run in the third frame. The future Notre Damer finished with a game high 28 points.

Princeton held on to win 53-34 to take home it’s first regional title since 1996.
